-Nehemiah 4:13-14
I'm not a leader of people in the way I used to be, but if I'm ever in leadership again, I want to be a leader like Nehemiah. In leading the rebuilding of the Jerusalem wall, he was both practical and spiritual, showing the strength that comes of trusting God and taking necessary action. The two are not mutually exclusive.
The grey clouds carry beauty, swooping low and northward. I'll take the day as it is given. I sang on the walk to Victrola. It was good to sing to the Lord.

Need to call Daniela today and let her know I won't be making it to San Francisco for the wedding. I think I have as much peace with the decision as I'm going to. I just can't do it all.
It's raining now, and I didn't wear a jacket. Ah well. I may wait a bit, and even getting a little damp isn't a terrible thing.
