Spending Saturday

Email inbox(es) will be the end of me. They just get cluttered and unruly so quickly.

Shaping up into a pretty day here. We have plans to get together with new friends from barlow_girl's work, so that will provide a good break in the day. I get selfish about time and am not a fan of midday commitments as a rule, but the nature of working for the church often limits our ability to develop and maintain relationships outside it, so this is a welcome change—I just need to remind myself of that. The fear of being used up and the grumpiness that accompanies it rises so quickly and naturally that it can easily slip in without being examined and tested for truth. Living on purpose takes work, but it's worth it.
