Integration

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner, conversation, and game of Settlers of Catan (thanks for teaching us!) with jadeejf and mobileoak last night. Great hosts and fun people to spend time with.

Stuff rattling in my head that I haven't found a good way to write yet. Saying that is a bit like telling someone what you almost got them for Christmas, except that people usually look forward to Christmas gifts.

In the meantime, I've been exploring Facebook and reconnecting with a number of old friends. Part of what I'm enjoying about it is the feeling of integrating more of the pieces of my life into a single whole. The closer I can get to feeling like one person, the better.

Love Settlers! Hate that you need more than two to play, as Mike & I are socially lazy.

Elasund is marketed as the 2-person Settlers. It's fun, but nothing like Settlers.

I never use my Facebook account except to look up students that piss me off and privately make fun of them.
I've wound up making a number of reconnections via Facebook—I'm a bit surprised at how much I like it.

I added your LJ account as a friend, so you now have access to some entries that would not have been visible to you before. I'm interested in your thoughts on some recent stuff, as time allows.
