Already thinking about the year ahead, New Year's resolutions and all that lot. That's all tinted by having so much change to look forward to (and I really am looking forward to it!) with our wedding a mere four months away. Everything quickly begins to snowball as I realize I want to be healthier than I am in nearly every respect: physically, spiritually, relationally, financially, and so on. I'm not overwhelmed, but a forming a comprehensive plan is challenging and I don't want my efforts to be so diffuse that they're ineffective. Having this journal is helpful in looking back—this year's resolution (not fully met, but definitely a help) and Lenten disciplines (ditto) are good starting points.
Clearly, I'm still working through it. I have a day or two to nail it down, right?
