I'm takin' what they're givin' 'cause I'm workin' for a livin'

Starting to feel the burn at work in anticipation of my London trip next week. Nothing awful, just a matter of doing the math and seeing that the amount of things I'll need to have done by next Wednesday is pretty considerable and may require some late hours. We have a fairly relaxed office atmosphere and really enjoy one another—both big positives. It can result in things like three-hour-and-40-minute staff meetings, however (as it did yesterday), and that can thoroughly wreck a day for productivity. One foot in front of the other, I suppose. Maybe I'll work between services on Sunday, too.
