Ingratitude vs. goodness

Convicted last night of the simple fact that I gripe too much. That's a symptom—ingratitude is the underlying disease. Considering how deeply and richly blessed I am, living that way is just plain untrue. Time to nip it in the bud.

Driving the point even further home, my friend Micah was robbed today. His apartment was broken into while he was at work, and they took nearly everything but the furniture—computer, electronics, rings from his family for his upcoming wedding, papers and letters, even many of his clothes. Devastating. He seems to be holding up pretty well, all things considered.

Keep my eyes open to your goodness, Lord, and pour out you blessing on Micah in his loss and need.
