Almost day off

Irwin's is hopping today. Looks like I'm not the only one with MLK, Jr. Day off. So far, all breasts are covered and all children are eating solid food, which is kind of a neat change of pace. Tried the pumpkin muffin, which was deelish. It's raining pretty hard.

I don't get the whole day off, though—have to go in tonight for a Finance Team meeting. I hate evening meetings, don't like having to go in on holidays, and am not a big fan of finance team meetings, so this is a triple threat. Sometimes the job just has to be done, though, and at the end of the day, I'm OK with that. Need to keep telling myself that, because I can already feel myself getting grumpy about the week ahead.

My iTunes count is at 1886 songs, now that I've weeded out duplicates. While there are much larger libraries, I honestly had no idea I'd accumulated so much. Guess I'm an MP3 pack rat. Will probably ditch the Christmas stuff that's from CDs and bring it back when the season returns.

"I looked, and, lo, a Lamb!" [Revelation 14:1] Why, that Lamb is heaven itself; for as good Rutherford says, "Heaven and Christ are the same thing;" to be with Christ is to be in heaven, and to be in heaven is to be with Christ. That prisoner of the Lord very sweetly writes in one of his glowing letters—"O my Lord Jesus Christ, if I could be in heaven without thee, it would be a hell; and if I could be in hell, and have thee still, it would be a heaven to me, for thou art all the heaven I want." It is true, is it not, Christian? Does not thy soul say so?

Do you feel uncomfortable with women breastfeeding in public?
More information is in my 15 January 2005 post.
I know. I read that one, too. And I had the same question.

Couldn't decide if it was just the age of the child that disturbed you (and how old was he?) or the idea of breasts in public.

I'll go back and read that post again though. :)
You never even answered that woman's question about the age of the child....so really...not a whole lot more information. :)
Oh. That's all the information I have.
I don't really have a guess on the age (speaking age, certainly). I suppose I could have pried the boy from his natural source of pleasure and comfort, but somehow, that seemed rude.
i was about to ask the same thing! :)
Apparently my stance on breastfeeding is fascinating!
well, as a breast-feeder, i was curious!
What a thought! It never occurred to me that Heaven and Christ are the same thing. But it makes perfect sense. That's awesome.

I hope your evening goes well, in spite of dreading it.
It went fine, no worries!
So, is there an easy way to weed out the duplicates?
Wait, nevermind. I got it.
I'm bummed I didn't get to help—finally, someone wanted to talk with me about something other than breastfeeding!
Sorry. Next time I just won't tell you when I get it. :)

You CAN tell me what your favorite iTunes feature is. I'm trying to learn all about it, so that I will be iTunes savvy.
