Domestic bliss

I love my apartment. I love having a dishwasher. I am completely spoiled.

Dishwashers RULE!!! Congrats.
Now, if you have a dishwasher AND a garbage disposal, you are in domestic nirvana.
I miss a garbage disposal much more than I miss my dishwasher.
i think washing dishes is the only housekeeping chore i actually enjoy. (though i usually let a few pile up before i do it... i definitely don't like the thought of it, but once i am washing dishes and listening to npr or good music, i am very happy.)
I miss having an apartment!

me, too

the car just isn't the same.

Re: me, too

ain't that the truth

Re: me, too

I was kidding--I hope you are, too?

Re: me, too

yeah, but I just had to move back in with my parents, so it's pretty much the same thing. ;)

Re: me, too

ugh--I hear you. I hope it won't be for long.

Re: me, too

San Diego is just so overpriced..I was paying 725 for a crappy apartment. I'm hoping to move out of state sometime after the new year. :)

Re: me, too

I just added you--hope that's okay, and that you'll add me back as I see you're friends only!
Seattle is high as well--I pay $675 for an okay place--the nice part about it is the location, 4 blocks from the water (Puget Sound).

Re: me, too

rad, I love making new friends!! :D

Re: me, too

where are you planning on going?

Re: me, too

most likely New Mexico

Re: me, too

oh, I want to go there! I've never been, but it sounds wonderful.

Re: me, too

Oh, I just looked at your icon real quick... and "inhim" has the same icon, so I responded with a short thought because he should already know where I"m thinking of moving!

Oi.

ANyway, New Mexico is where my sister lives, and she could hook me up with a job, and rent would be almost half as expensive. So that's the tenative plan. But I'm willing to go pretty much anywhere.

Re: me, too

I stole the Bono icon from someone on here--guess that's who ;).
Where does she live? Does she love it?

Re: me, too

She lives in Albuquerque, and she does love it! It's like a lost city, it's awesome and no one knows about it. I love the weather -- they get a variety...and the cost of living is reasonable. THere's not a lot of bells and whistles, but I love it. OF course, the mexican food is WONDERFUL there too. Lots of intersting specicialties.

I'll keep that it in mind

for where to go next, after I'm done with school. I think Seattle is probably too cloudy and too expensive, and I don't want to go back to FL. NM sounds good.
Rock on!!
That is so awesome! Loving where you live is a great feeling!!

I *dream* of the day we finally have a dishwasher...I think everyone should be without a dishwasher for at least a small portion of time, because then when you do get one, you can enjoy it in complete, appreciative bliss!

Enjoy!! Please throw in a dish for me! :) :)
