Hours and days sucked away. Haven't had it together enough to write much, and that won't really change now if "having it together" is the measure. This is mostly just a placeholder for the record, a note to remind me where I was (and wasn't) during this time should I ever look back.

Enjoyed the Senior Art Exhibition at SPU yesterday evening. Great work and good to meet mptphlosofer face to face. Group went to El Diablo Coffee on Queen Anne afterward. We need to do more socializing together; summertime is good for that.

Anyone in the Seattle area should consider coming to Oratorio: Supplication at Benaroya Hall this Sunday (7:00 pm). My church's Experimental Orchestra and Choir has been working like crazy and they're flat-out amazing. Besides, how often can you see the premier of an original oratorio? Tickets can be purchased via this link.

I'm getting my days off this week if it's the last thing I do.

thanks for mentioning the oratorio--I am going to go, and I sent it to someone at Mars Hill to put in the newletter, if they didn't already know about it.
That's so cool! Maybe I'll see you there?
sure--who should I look for? Are you performing in it?
I'm not performing and I'm trying to think of a good way to connect. Right now I'm not planning to work at the event (though that may change) so I'm not as easy to locate as I am on a Sunday morning. If you like, email me at my LJ address and we can figure something out!
Almost makes me wish I lived in Seattle...
El Diablo rocks... my roommate works there too, so I get a discount, which leads me to hanging out there entirely too much.
Can there be "too much" of a place that funkadelic?
