Less than I'm thinking

All I've got is...what I've got.

—Captain John Sheridan, Babylon 5

As is becoming usual, today was all over the map. Plenty to be grateful for, as always, and I will let that flavor the rest. In terrain I don't know how to navigate, so I suppose I'll have to follow. That's probably what He's been getting at all along.

Dinner is cooking and I've poured myself a glass of wine. Long, good day of work (besides the gorgeous weather) and I'm hungry. Progress on a few things, most notably getting sermon MP3s posted to the church website. The sermons in this Lenten series range from excellent to amazing; the one from 14 March blew my doors off.

Planning to be a total vegetable tonight. I'm not even eating meat (again).

How I wish I had insights like that! Do you have any idea how blessed you are to be able to realize things like that in your everyday life? That's not a very common gift. I'm so grateful to God that you share your thoughts and that I can read them. :)
Thank you. It's helped to learn to look for his hand when I don't understand, or even when I do—what does He desire in my life and how might He be working my circumstances to that end? I'm thankful when He opens my eyes a bit, but again, sometimes He doesn't, and that teaches me to follow anyway.
