Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.

Thwarted by a closed Victrola early this morning. Plumbing work. At least going that way allowed me to take lunch to a homeless man, and afterward I just decided to come into the office. Hate backtracking.

A woman at my church wants to put together a zine. Brilliant. Sounds like I’ll be coordinating from the staff end. Already reminded of working with Jodi many years ago on the school newspaper. The memories will be melancholy sometimes, but at least I will remember. The project has a ton of potential.
Just got a random IM from vbouldr. Random from a human perspective, anyway. He was trying to change his journal style, and it turns out he’s a student at the University of Central Florida and involved with InterVarsity, where one of my former RAs is the staff worker. Small world. No question who’s in charge of it.
