Woke up at 5:00 again this morning, in a great mood. Leaving (being delivered from!) my job has been such an amazing relief-- it's as if a dam has burst open for the living water to flow into my life. It's not just the job, of course, but I think getting out of there was a critical step in learning to trust God again and to His revealing how He wants to change my life.

Added a couple of new LJers to my friends list this morning. I haven't been overly into LiveJournal as a social thing, but both of them made me smile with recent entries to communities I'm in. So welcome to my friends list, daisybud and stesla!

Cool, beautiful Seattle morning. I love the coffee shop on mornings like this. Today I expect I'll finish at least one of the two books I'm reading (Ruthless Trust by Brennan Manning and Reducing the Storm to a Whisper by Patrick J. Howell, S.J.), if not both. I'd like to read a chunk of Real Time by Regis McKenna today and tomorrow, as the marketing perspective might be helpful for my job interview tomorrow afternoon.

Hey thanks! I'm glad you seem to be having a good day! And thanks for your advice...I really needed it. :-)
You're welcome-- I've been there. It's always worked better for me when I follow Napoleon's strategy: "Show up, see what happens." With an ample measure of prayer, faith, and compassion, of couse. :)
