I have a tendency to plan for the worst case, and it seems when I stray from that, things just don't work. Today's misfire was my attempt to attend a workshop in Burien via public transit. Thankfully, the failure occurred early enough for me to return to the office without much greater cost than a little frustration, some time, the $10 fee, and the opportunity to learn more about health savings accounts as related to churches. Though it's not hectic here at work, there's still plenty for me to do with the unexpected margin, so I'm not too discouraged. Even so, I wish a nap were on that list.
