Enjoying nothing

Be most in those engagements which you have experimentally proved to draw you nearest to Christ, because it is from Him that all your fruits proceed. Any holy exercise which will bring you to Him will help you to bear fruit.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Morning and Evening (13 November, Morning: "Renewing Fruit")

This has the feel of a day I'm going to enjoy. Nothing planned beyond the cup of tea beside me and a couple of loose ends for work. The latter will take me into the U District, so I'm thinking a nice lunch out and a pint of beer would be a good treat. Anything could happen today. I love that feeling.

Also love the way a warm mug feels cradled in my hands. It's the best.
