"It goes up to eleven"

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

—John 21:25

Yesterday I wrote about being overwhelmed by all I could never be or know. It's good to be overwhelmed by this in a wonderful way.

Lots of things are kicked up a notch this week, but I have moments of peace, like this one, and that's a beginning. This will be a terribly busy day at work; perhaps it will also be terribly good.

Worth thinking about:

"Two things I ask of you, O Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, 'Who is the Lord?'
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God."

—Agur, son of Jakeh (Proverbs 30:7-9)
